Train A Child is a dedicated organisation focused on promoting the holistic development and well-being of children by providing innovative resources, educational tools, and community programs that introduce children to self-care as an essential life skill. We support parents, teachers, and therapists in building daily habits that foster emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth in children.
Our goal is to put these essential resources into the hands of as many children as possible, empowering them to take ownership of their own development. By doing so, we aim to break cultural cycles one resource at a time and leave a worthy legacy for all children.
Dr. Mya Okeowo is a passionate advocate for children’s mental health and well-being, dedicated to providing innovative and educational resources that empower children, parents, educators, and healthcare providers. With a rich background in children’s rights and childhood studies research, she has made significant strides in developing preventive mental health education programs that complement traditional therapeutic approaches.
