• understanding and expressing emotions
• navigating friendships and social dynamics
• building confidence and self-trust
• managing overwhelming feelings
• developing calming and grounding strategies
• reflecting on identity, values, and belonging
What Girls Take Away
By the end of the Anchored Girls Circle series, girls leave with:
• A clearer understanding of their emotions and what those feelings may be communicating
• Simple calming and grounding tools they can use when emotions feel overwhelming
• Language to describe how they are feeling, helping them express themselves more confidently
• Greater confidence in navigating friendship dynamics and everyday emotional challenges
• A stronger sense of emotional awareness and self-understanding
• Practical strategies for pausing, reflecting, and responding thoughtfully during difficult moments
Girls also benefit from the experience of being part of a supportive and encouraging circle, where they realise that many of their experiences and emotions are shared by others.
Parents and caregivers gain helpful insight into ways they can gently reinforce these emotional tools and conversations at home.
