Emotional wellbeing support that gently integrates faith, identity, and emotional understanding.
What Children Learn
These sessions gently support children in developing emotional and spiritual wellbeing through:
• understanding and naming their emotions
• recognising how emotions show up in the body
• learning simple calming and grounding strategies for overwhelming moments
• reflecting on identity, worth, and belonging
• building resilience through faith-centred encouragement
• developing confidence in navigating everyday challenges
Children begin to understand that their emotions are meaningful, that they are deeply valued, and that they are not alone as they navigate life’s challenges.
What a Session Looks Like
Each session is designed to feel calm, supportive, and age-appropriate.
Sessions may include:
• emotional check-ins
• guided conversations about feelings
• reflective journaling or drawing activities
• simple calming and grounding exercises
• gentle faith-centred reflections on identity and resilience
Children are encouraged to participate in ways that feel comfortable for them. There is always space for listening, reflection, and thoughtful conversation.
What Children Take Away
By the end of a Faith-Integrated Wellbeing Session, children leave with:
• a clearer understanding of their emotions and what those feelings may be communicating
• simple calming and grounding tools they can use when emotions feel overwhelming
• language to describe how they are feeling, helping them express themselves with greater confidence
• a growing sense of confidence in navigating emotional moments and everyday challenges
• a deeper understanding of their identity, value, and belonging
Children also begin to recognise that faith can be a source of strength, comfort, and guidance during difficult moments.
Parents and caregivers gain helpful insight into how they can gently continue these conversations at home.

Session Format
Format: Individual or small group sessions (groups are intentionally kept small to ensure each child feels seen, heard, and supported)
Age range: Children aged 7–12
Session length: 60 minutes
Location: In person or virtual (depending on availability)

Faith-Integrated Wellbeing Sessions provide structured emotional wellbeing support and guidance, helping children develop practical tools that strengthen emotional resilience and support a healthy understanding of identity, emotions, and faith.
They are not therapy, but offer a supportive space where children can learn and practise skills they can carry into everyday life.
